Angel Zhao
Angel Zhao is a seasoned finance leader with a distinguished career spanning over two decades, marked by her pivotal role in the success of New Relic. As the company's inaugural finance hire, she skillfully steered it through a successful IPO in 2014, laying the foundation for a decade of unwavering commitment. Over the past ten years, Angel devoted herself to New Relic's prosperity, playing a key role in growing the company’s revenue from 3M to 1B annually. This remarkable achievement involved the meticulous building and nurturing of high-performing teams starting from 1 to over 150 employees, contributing to the elevation of New Relic's infrastructure. Particularly noteworthy is her instrumental contribution to transitioning New Relic from a traditional SaaS model to a consumption-based business, a clear testament to her adaptability and foresight in navigating dynamic markets. Prior to New Relic, she played a significant role as a controller at Wily Technology, growing the team and improving processes there to meet the demand of a hyper growth company. Angel's wealth of experience in scaling and transforming technology companies, coupled with her fervent passion for leadership and mentorship, positions her as an invaluable asset to any team.
Angel received her B.S from San Francisco State University. She is a CPA for the state of California.
Kasia Rzepnikowska
Kasia initiated her professional journey at Deloitte, accumulating over 12 years of experience in positions held in both Warsaw, Poland, and Silicon Valley, California. Advancing to the role of Senior Manager in the audit practice, she focused on catering to technology clients. Her involvement extended to audits of both private and public companies, including participation in IPOs.
Transitioning to the corporate world, Kasia led SEC reporting and technical accounting at Cafepress before embarking on a transformative journey at New Relic in 2013. During a remarkable decade at New Relic, Kasia played a pivotal role in taking the company public, overseeing functions ranging from equity and SEC reporting to payroll, accounting, treasury, tax, travel, and real estate. Kasia not only built the finance team but also advanced to the position of Group Vice President of Finance, contributing significantly to New Relic's growth from a startup to a publicly traded entity generating over $1 billion in revenue. In 2018, Kasia took this expertise to London, UK, contributing to the development of EMEA subsidiaries.
Kasia is a CPA for the state of California, underlining her expertise and complementing her educational background with an MBA and a Master's degree in Economics.
Barb Legnitto Hansson
With over 15 years of accounting experience, Barb brings a wealth of expertise cultivated through a diverse professional journey. Her background begins at Deloitte, where she provided support for both public and private SaaS companies. Transitioning to the corporate world, Barb served as a senior accountant at Kimpton Hotels' corporate office, honing her skills in financial construction accounting along with FP&A function for their technology sector. The majority of her career was spent at New Relic, a private company when she first joined. Throughout her decade-long tenure, Barb played a pivotal role in the company's evolution, contributing significantly to its initial public offering and the establishment of 13 subsidiaries worldwide, and actively participated in numerous M&A deals for the company. Rising through the ranks from a senior accountant to the Controller for the Americas, Barb not only built and led a high-performing accounting team but also implemented numerous systems and developed a robust internal controls framework. Managing the Procurement team added another layer to her skill set, fostering a comprehensive understanding of financial operations and contributing to the organization's overall success and growth.
Barb received her B.S from Boston University and her Masters in Accountancy from Golden Gate University. She is a CPA for the state of California.
